GROB = GREP Osm protoBuff file

Search the waypoints of an Openstreetmap Protobuf file for a string. Additionally the maximum distance to a waypoint can be specified. Output is of the form: lat,lon,tags

1. Your GOPATH variable is assumed to be set to a sensible value.

2. Get the osmpdf library (used for digesting OSM protobuf files)

   $ go get github.com/qedus/osmpbf

3. Clone grob

   $ git clone https://github.com/wmo/grob

   $ cd grob

   $ go build grob

4. You are good to go now.

Use case: you want to eat a pizza close to Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin.

1. Download the Berlin.osm.pbf file from download.geofabrik.de/europe/germany.html (in case the link is no longer valid, start from here: wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Planet.osm)

2. Locate checkpoint charlie

   grob berlin-latest.osm.pbf "checkpoint charlie"

3. Check within a radius of 0.5 km of waypoint 52.507546 13.390361 for pizza
