Deb2aci works like aptitude, but instead of installing on host it downloads the deb packages with all their dependencies and installs them into the ACI image.
It remembers each dependency in annotation to the resulting image manifest.
Make sure your GOPATH
is correctly configured, then run:
make get-deps
make
Let's build the example nginx ACI:
# outputs nginx.aci
deb2aci -pkg nginx -manifest examples/nginx.manifest -image nginx.aci
The image manifest within generated ACI will keep track of what packages are part of it:
