go-lz4 is port of LZ4 lossless compression algorithm to Go.The original C code is located at:

The package name is lz4
There are two difference between original implementation and Go version:

Data is encoded and decoded as a stream. There is no size argument requirement.

go-lz4 doesn't save magic value and chunk size at the begining of the file. Due this difference file produced by original lz4 implementation can't be decompressed by go-lz4 implementation without ignoring first 8 bytes of file.
